Lofoten Coast

Coastal scenery, Lofoten Islands, Norway

Photo: Rocky coastline, Lofoten Islands, Norway

Sometimes I think the Lofoten Islands are the ultimate lazy man’s photo destination.  This scene is about 5 meters from where I stopped my car along the E10.  Doesn’t get much simpler than that…

It’s certainly true that you don’t have to go after any scenic rain storms, they’ll always be coming for you. And you’re right, Lofoten has so many great scenes that even mediocre photographers like me can return home with plenty of bounty 🙂

It’s a nice shot, whereabouts was it?

    Hey Søren,

It’s on the E10 on the southern part of Gimsøya, maybe 1km west from the bridge. I think we might have stopped here once as well. If the light is nice, it can be a good scene, but it’s often pretty stormy.
