A Gallon of Gas, German Style…

I walk by the gas station on my way to the grocery store (about 4 blocks away).

This morning:

1 Liter = 1.49 Euro

3.8 liters = 1 gallon

1 Euro = $1.57 (4/24/08 exchange rate)

1 gallon = $8.89

    Hi Cody

Just wait till you get to Scotland and England…Petrol prices have sky rocketed over here!
Not sure if you remember me, I met you in the Newberry Lava Flows in Oregon when you and your dad were taking some photos?
Since then I have been to Yellowstone and now I will be driving through Namibia and Botswana in June.
Your photos look amazing and are very inspiring!
Hope you get good weather in Scotland

    Hey Dani,

Yep, I remember meeting you up there. I’ve been wanting to go to Yellowstone for a while, but I never seem to make it. Was just talking yesterday how I need to make a road trip of the US one of these days; or at least the western part. That was my first time in Oregon since I was a little kid when my dad and I used to go up there every year or two…

Yep, been watching the UK fuel prices and now that workers strike happening up in Scotland. Makes me think my plan of going to Mongolia, buying a horse and riding around for a few months might not be so crazy after all.

Have a good time in Africa!
